This part of the walkthrough continues from “Getting the Bridge Pass”.
New Stuff in Central Plaza
New Gear at Star’s Forge
- On reaching Western Grat, you can backtrack to Star’s Forge and get yourself new gear.
- You will likely only be able to afford an Oven, but that’s a very important addition to your kitchen, so I recommend getting it when you can.
New Trader: Aki
- You’ll find Aki to the west of Star’s Forge. They can sell you a variety of exotic and rare goods and recipes.
- Note that you can also find Aki in Western Grat, so you don’t need to backtrack just for them.
New Trader: Sana at the Braided Petal
- Remember the store on the topmost level of the Central Plaza that was closed previously? It’s open now!
- You can buy herbs here and also learn about gardening.
New Fulfillable Orders in Central Plaza
While there are several orders you can pick up now in Central Plaza and Western Plaza, we’ll focus on the one that we can fulfil right now.
Ryverfarers Provisions – Laurent
How to find: Talk to Laurent and provided you have completed “Refreshment for Planning”, you will get this order.
Order: Follow Provision Pack Recipe, Avoid Foul, x2
- You can view the Provision Pack recipe in the recipes section.
- It’s a fairly simple recipe that leaves the ingredients vague, but it does call for an oven. You can buy one at Star’s Forge provided you have reached Western Grat.
- You can buy Rocksalt and any Crop at the Bakery, and Herbs at The Braided Petal.
- For the Mushroom, you will have to look around in the world and harvest them, as there are no mushroom vendors at present.
- Remember that you shouldn’t put anything “Foul” in the dish, so don’t put in Wildvine for the Herb.
Getting to the Western Plaza
- On arriving in Western Grat, go up the platforms, and to the west after the moving platform ferries you up.
- Proceed up the stairs and then right to land up in the Western Plaza.
- Go up the platforms.
Traders in Western Plaza
- You’ll find Avery to the west of the bottom of the elevator.
- Further to the west, you’ll find Aki. He has the same stock as he would have in the Central Plaza.
- Further to the west, you’ll find an establishment with a hammer and chisel symbol. This is The Woodpecker, where you’ll be able to buy storage and other furnishings for your store.
- After checking out The Woodpecker, proceed west, then up, then east. Past the balancing princess Ellie, you’ll find some platforms to jump onto.
- Go up the platforms surrounding the tower and at the very top, you’ll meet Colo again, who will give you a Compass.
Finding the Light Stone Talisman
- From Colo’s location, go up and then west.
- In the new area, go up the platforms, then east, then up again.
- After several more platforms going up, go east until you find a cliff. Drop down this cliff.
- From here, drop all the way down, down the stairs, into a dungeon-like area. You should see a treasure chest. Head for the chest for a surprise.
- Go slightly east and you’ll find the Light Stone Talisman, which will let you see in the dark and therefore, explore the dark dungeons of Grat.
- After you find it, simply follow the platforms to the east, then up, until you get to a gate.
- You’ll end up back to where you fell from, and this time you can grab the treasure if you’re quick enough.
- You can go west from here to return to roughly the start of this area.
