Dragon’s Dogma is pretty cool, and often enjoyable. I’m not about to hand you a stuffy and slow analysis – its issues are pretty apparent. The true value of the game is found in its moments, in the incidentals. But since those moments come from the core gameplay system – the combat – one might say the core of the game is pure quality, regardless of issues.
