Tako no Himitsu (ends Aug 9 estimated reward date Oct 2026)
from the developer of Save Me, Mr. Tako, we get another octopus-adjacent retro game, this time looking like a long-lost Game Boy Advance release. You can try the demo on Steam.

Commodore 64 Breadbin Case (ends Aug 12 estimated reward date Dec 2024)
I’m on record as a Commodore 64 lover, but I’m the first to admit the aesthetics of the hardware have not aged well. Taupe? Brown? Can’t we do better? This Australian campaign aims to by offering brand-new plastic cases in a variety of colors for the beloved retro computer.

Cho Aniki Collection (ends Aug 19 estimated reward date Dec 2024)
We covered the enigmatic Cho Aniki series on the podcast, lamenting the absence of any new releases. This won’t scratch that itch but a port of the original two games to the Nintendo Switch certainly counts as progress!

koROBO (ends Aug 23 estimated reward date May 2026)
Announced at BitSummit in Kyoto last month, this spiritual sequel to ChibiRobo will reunite former members of Skip Ltd. to bring back their favorite tiny automaton. They’re also running a simultaneous campaign on Japanese platform Campfire, if you prefer to pay in Yen.

Castle of Shikigami III (ends Aug 31 estimated reward date Oct 2024)
Following successful revivals of the first two Castle of Shikigami games, Cosmo Machia has set their collective sights on part III for a Steam release.
