Confusingly not the second in the series – as Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic has that honour – Discovery takes a lot of the features from Myths & Magic but puts a mysterious spin on things.

Available today on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery is a laid-back hidden object game that puts you at the heart of a Sherlock-style investigation.

In fact, in this Where’s Wally-esque title you’ll join forces with Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in the Victorian era, as well as meet some extra characters in both the Noir era and Sci-Fi era. Wherever you are, expect to be tracking down dozens of items.

• Relaxing Gameplay – A relaxing and cosy experience is ensured as the game doesn’t feature timers or similar mechanics to put pressure on the player. They’re able to enjoy the game at their own speed.
• Map Editor – Players have access to assets from all three eras (Noir, Victorian, and Sci-Fi), giving the ability to bring their imagination to life in the Map Editor, where creations can be shared with the community.
• Reality Shift – Seen in the previous game, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, the Reality Shift feature makes a return. This allows players to explore a whole host of new objects as they can shift between time and season, giving more depth to each map, enabling more space for storytelling within one map.

Fancy yourself a budding puzzle-maker? Well, the Map Editor will put that to the test. You can choose from hundreds of items and characters to place into your own level – let your mind wander as you create the most wacky (or difficult) of levels.

You can then share these with the online community, and play through others’ creations.
