First 10 episodes of Sonic X (Japanese with English subs) available on YouTube

Sonic the Hedgehog has had quite a few animated series’ over the years. While it wasn’t his first, Sonic X remains a fan-favorite with followers of the Blue Blur, and those who have fond memories of the cartoon now have a really interesting way to watch the earliest episodes.

SEGA has announced that the first 10 episodes of Sonic X are now available to stream on YouTube…but there’s a catch. These aren’t the episodes as they aired in English, but instead the original Japanese versions with English subtitles added. I have a feeling most fans will see that as a positive!

Why have these episodes been added now? It’s all thanks to TMS Entertainment USA hitting its 60th anniversary. TMS Entertainment USA is a Japanese animation studio that’s owned by SEGA, so it makes sense that they’d be more than happy to share some classic Sonic X episodes. If you’d like to see all 10 episodes that were just made available, you can find the playlist here.
