Most popular Xbox games — Space Marine 2 storms into the top ten
Towards the middle of the table, Riders Republic makes its first-ever Xbox Gameplay Chart appearance in 15th. Last week, Ubisoft’s open-world extreme sports game joined Xbox Game Pass, and it’s clearly been a hit among subscribers. The same can be said for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, which has churned its way through the mud from 39th position to 16th, thanks to Game Pass.
As we move on down the chart, Star Wars Outlaws has tumbled from 18th down to 29th. It’s not unusual to see single-player games lose players in the weeks following launch, but we would have expected Outlaws to remain in the top 20 for at least another week or two.
Interestingly, we’ve seen a large drop off of players in Game Pass titles, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Star Trucker, and Core Keeper, all of which have taken big hits in this week’s rankings compared to the previous. Also included in the Game Pass casualties is Atlas Fallen, which has slipped out of the top 40 altogether.
Top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending September 15th, 2024
This week, loads of new Xbox games hit the platform, so we might see some new games appear in the next Xbox Gameplay Chart. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, The Plucky Squire, Frostpunk 2, and Train Sim World 5 are all on the docket next week.
