NCSOFT to discontinue development on Battle Crush, game being taken offline
Battle Crush launched in early access on Switch back in June of this year, and just 4 short months later, the plug is being pulled.
NCSOFT has announced that they are going to stop development of Battle Crush, the brawler action game where players fight to be the last one standing on ever-shrinking battlefields, filled with enemies. This came alongside the announcement that NCSOFT is forming four new subsidiaries, including three independent studios that will focus on the intellectual properties Throne and Liberty (Studio X), Project LLL (Studio Y), and TACTAN (Studio Z), and one focused on advancing NCSOFT’s proprietary artificial intelligence technologies (NC AI).
According to the official Battle Crush social media accounts, the game will be removed from the Switch eShop today, with cancellation/refunding information coming Oct. 29th. Finally, the game will officially be taken offline on Nov. 29th, 2024, so you’ll have a bit over a month to continue playing.
