Chapter 4: BuzzHuzz Plaza
In this part of the walkthrough for Great God Grove, we’ll cover the entirety of Chapter 4, which is set in BuzzHuzz Plaza.
On starting this chapter, go north past the chain link fence, and then northwest to find a Bizzyboy (Alexei) chilling out.
Talk to him and you’ll learn that you need five Bizzyboy papers to pass through. Don’t bother grabbing Alexei’s line.
The papers, in your case, will be posters of Inspekta. Look around the area for four posters affixed to walls and suck them in with your Megapon.
The final poster is lying on the ground, beyond the chain link fence to the west of where you entered this area.
Once you’ve got all five, shoot ’em at Alexei to be granted passage to the BuzzHuzz plaza.
Step through and you’ll find out that the Bizzyboys have set up a police state in the plaza in the name of the now-nostalgic god of memory, Bauhauzzo.
The other god of BuzzHuzz plaza, Huzzle Mug, has been imprisoned and his supporters are mounting a rebellion against the BizzyBoys.
Go east and talk to the mysterious stranger to learn that you’re being recruited for the rebellion. Your first task is to get past the barricade that’s manned by Bananathan.
Grab his line “I order you to open this alley!!!”. You can try confusing him by shooting the line back at him, but it won’t help us get past the barricade, because Bananathan will only listen to authority.
Go north and then west, to the area behind the fountain, where you’ll find the entrance to the abode of the god Bauhauzzo, BauSpace.
Enter here to learn that Bauhauzzo is full of regret and wishes to be reunited with his compatriot god, Huzzle Mug.
After you’re done conversing, return to BauSpace and shoot the line you got from Bananathan at Bauhauzzo.
Now grab Bauhauzzo’s version of the same line, and use it on Bananathan to be granted entry to the alley to the east.
In the alley, you’ll find a dark door with the mysterious stranger behind it. They won’t let you in without being given four passwords.
Further east, you’ll find the confiscated abode of the god Huzzle Mug. Enter to converse with it.
Grab the line “Betraueltry” from it. As you continue talking to Huzzle Mug, you’ll learn that the passwords to the artist rebellion is to use four nonsensical words. You already got one from Huzzle Mug, so you can exit its abode now.
Go to the center of the plaza to find the offending statue, and also the green-faced Dr Cara. Talk to him to get another nonsensical word, “GETSCRAMLOSTGONE!!!”. Remember to grab it!
Next, go south of Dr Cara to find Alexei again. Talk to him and grab the nonsense word “-a SUNNYBRERO.”
For the final nonsense word, go a bit west from Alexei to find our old pal Kondle again. Grab their word “HELLOGREETINGSHI!!”.
Now return to the black door and shoot each of the passwords in any order at the door, before the timer runs out.
Step through the door to be introduced to the rebellion. After you’re done with the introductory sequence, talk to Bayker to the east.
Your first mission is to get rid of the paint cleaner, Dr Cara. Grab the line “Excuse me, paint cleaning’th no longer needed!” from Bayker.
Now head back to the plaza. You can try what Bayker said and use the line on Dr Cara directly, but it obviously won’t have much effect.
So instead, go west from the statue to find Capochin standing under the confiscated art supplies.
Shoot the line at him and grab the line as said by him. Use this version of the line on Dr Cara in front of the statue to get rid of him.
Now return to the Guerrilla Bunker and talk to Bayker to let them know the job’s done. You can now talk to Colonel Extraño, or you can go directly to the next mission-giver, Cottin, who is standing just east of the Colonel.
Your goal now is to get a bucket of paint and slosh it on the statue. The paints can be found to the far west of the plaza, in the area that was previously obstructed by pigeons.
Go there now and talk to Pua the artist. You’ll learn that the dye vats have been emptied by Capochin, so you’ll have to first fill them up by bringing objects of the appropriate colors.
If you go a bit north, you’ll find that each of the vats has a symbol on it: leaf, lips, and water. This is a hint for the colors in those vats: green, red, and blue. You only need find objects of these colors (although there are objects of other colors as well).
First, grab the green pigeon who’s standing just west of Dr Cara, near the vats.
Next, go back to the alley and grab the blue (“azure”) flower to the west of the bunker entrance.
Finally, enter the bunker and grab the red book lying on the floor near Rodney.
Return to the vats and shoot the green flappy at the leftmost vat, the red book at the middle vat, and the azure rose at the rightmost vat.
This isn’t enough, as Pua will inform you – you need to find more of the same colors to fill the vats completely. What’s more, you won’t find any relevant items this time, either.
The solution lies in dialog. Return to the plaza now and go north from where Capochin is, to reach the Bizzyboy’s makeshift barracks. It’s guarded by Tripp, so talk to him and grab the line “I’m NOT green with envy! I’m just green.”
This will do for the green vat. For the blue vat, go back to the guerrilla bunker and talk to Cottin again. Grab the line “I am NOT blue with fright. I’m just blue!”.
Head back out. This leaves the red vat, for which you’ll have to return to Huzzle Mug’s abode, Huzzle’s Dune. Talk to Huzzle Mug and grab the line “Your presence makes me blush bright-red-bright-cheek!”.
This is all we need, so return to the vats and shoot Tripp’s line in the leftmost vat, Huzzle Mug’s line in the middle vat, and Cottin’s line in the rightmost vat.
Talk to Pua again, and you’ll find that he needs a bucket now. Thankfully, we know that P has a bucket already. Grab the bucket from next to P, who is standing east of Capochin.
Shoot the bucket at Pua and then grab the Goopy Bucket. Go to the statue now and shoot the Goopy Bucket at the statue.
This second mission completed, return to the guerrilla bunker and talk to Colonel Extraño to learn that your next mission will be given by Bayker.
Talk to Bayker again and grab the line “We need a thpare uniform!”, which is also your mission now.
Exit the bunker and go back to where Tripp was standing, i.e. the very northwest of the plaza.
Enter this building and shoot Bayker’s line at the Bizzyboy behind the desk, Vibia. You’ll learn that there’s only one uniform left, and it’s reserved for Capochin, should his present uniform get dirty.
Head back out now. You’ll find that Capochin is conveniently standing under a lot of stain-able paints, so we simply need to get P to let go of the rope.
Go back to Bauhauzzo in BauSpace now and grab the line “WHY CAN’T YOU JUST LET IT GO?”. Take this line to P and shoot it at him.
This drops all the paints on Capochin and ruins his uniform, so use Bayker’s line on him now. Capochin will agree with you, so grab his line “WE NEED A NEW UNIFORM!”.
Go back up north into the Bizzyboy Barracks and shoot this line at Vibia to get the uniform. Grab it and return to the statue.
This time, the statue is guarded by a Bizzyboy. Simply dodge their ramming and suck up the fence in front of the statue to clear the way.
Then, get inside and use the uniform on the effigy of Capochin.
Return to the guerrilla bunker for your final mission from Colonel Extraño: to use a biting catchphrase that represents the Bizzyboys’ backward thinking.
For this, there’s on better person than Capochin himself. You’ll find him just west of the statue premises. Grab his line “NO USELESS GODS. ONE LEADER’S PLENTY!”.
Now break through the barricade in front of the statue a second time (by sucking up the barricade), enter the inner area and shoot Capochin’s line at the statue.
After the sequence that follows, the rebellion will be a success. Go northeast of the statue to find Bayker standing near the Bizzyboy with the orange cone on his head (Grujaja).
The way to the east is now cleared, and you can proceed to the final chapter of the game, i.e. The Spire.
Before going there, you should check in with Huzzle Mug and Bauhauzzo to be apprised of the situation ahead. Note that Huzzle Mug’s abode has now been restored to its rightful place – next to Bauhauzzo’s.
When you’re ready, go east from Bayker and Grujaja to reach the ‘End of the Line’.
Keep going east here to find that the way to Inspekta’s van is barred. Further east, you’ll find Capochin talking to a misinformation gate.
Following the conversation, you’ll enter a new battle, one against Capochin himself.
You need to trick Capochin by using the misinformation gate’s words against Capochin. Remember that the gate repeats the words shot at it!
When the battle begins, grab the line “You’re NOTHING to me!” and launch it at the gate. Then, grab the repeat line from the gate, which will be in the voice of Capuchin.
Shoot this line at Capochin to confuse him.
Repeat this process in the second round with the line “-I’M da only one Inspekta will protect!”.
In the third round, use the line “INSPEKTA ONLY CARES ABOUT ME ME ME ME!!!”.
This concludes the battle and also Chapter 4.
You can now enter through the broken misinformation gate and into Inspekta’s van. We’ll cover this and more in the next part of this walkthrough of Great God Grove.
