Xbox achievements 2024 — top 10 most completed games of the year
Open Roads achievements were the most popular completion of 2024
- Open Roads was the most completed Xbox achievement list of 2024
- Senua’s Sacrifice was the most completed Xbox console exclusive of 2024
- The biggest surprise on this list is last year’s Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s hardcore soulslike
Using data from TrueAchievements, the world’s most hardy community of achievement hunters, we’ve pulled up the ten most completed games of 2024. Naturally, this means it won’t reflect the entire Xbox community, but it gives us a great indication of what the most dedicated group of completionists are up to.
Well, interactive adventure Open Roads leads the charge with its unbelievably easy list of achievements. It can be completed in less than an hour, so there is no surprise that its completion rate of 65.3% is the highest in the top ten. It also is part of an unsurprising trend we see throughout the list: Game Pass.
You’ve got Open Roads, Bluey: The Videogame, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Botany Manor, Little Kitty Big City, and Unpacking, all of which are a part of Microsoft’s subscription scheme across its various tiers. If you need evidence that Game Pass is a Gamerscore machine, this list is exactly that! It may even give you a few ideas for games for upcoming TrueAchievements events!
It would be remiss for me to not mention a few other games. When Sean wrote his Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II review, he explicitly noted how the 1,000G was achievable with minimal effort in around 7 hours. As such a highly anticipated Xbox console exclusive, it naturally drew in a massive player count too. That’s a recipe for success on this list.
I’m pretty fascinated by the double entries of Elden Ring and XDefiant on this list. FromSoftware’s hardcore open-world game has a notoriously high completion rate, given its relative difficulty compared to other games. What we can see on this list is not only that it is so good that players are happy to struggle from the whole 1,000G, but that the longevity of the game is crazy this far from release.
I’m sure that Shadow of the Erdtree, the brilliant DLC, really helped give players another big push to complete the game, though. That massive volume is reflected in the lowest completion rate on this list with the lowest completion rate of 4.1%. Still, though, given the nature of the game that’s impressive!
XDefiant is baffling to me. Sure, it’s free-to-play, which gives it a big volume of players. We can see that it’s got the third-lowest completion rate on the list at 8.3%, suggesting that (like Elden Ring) the sheer number of players that came through the door gave it a natural advantage over other games. Even so, I can’t believe players stuck with this FPS for 20 hours for the completion!

This table is ranked based on the raw amount of completions (from the most amount of players with a completion to the least amount of players with a completion). The % of Players Completed statistic tells you how many players who started the game managed to collect all 1,000G.
