Accessory maker Genki to talk Switch 2 at CES 2025 (UPDATE)

The amount of Switch 2 information we have at this point is honestly staggering. We’ve long since moved out of the rumors and speculation era and are pretty firmly in the leaks age. While nothing is confirmed until Nintendo says so, it’s incredibly hard to dispute some of the information out there right now, and it seems we’ll have even more in less than a week.

The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show kicks off Jan. 7th, 2025 and accessory maker Genki will be there. Genki has put out a number of products for Switch that have found great success, which makes it no surprise that they’re willing to go all-in on Nintendo’s next piece of hardware. Turns out Genki is also ready to chat about the system at CES.

Genki will be hosting a media briefing the morning of Jan. 7th for those in attendance at CES 2025. The company has said that not only will they offer another look at their recent crowdfunding successes, they’ll also share a peek at what’s next as well. Going even further, Genki states that they’ll be “happy to discuss any Switch 2 info” that they have, and that includes “the stuff” they’re making for it.

At this point, Nintendo themselves has to be mere days away from revealing first official details on Switch 2. Will Nintendo be joining Genki in talking about Switch 2 come next week, or will yet another accessory manufacturer get the jump on the Big N?

UPDATE: Just as Genki said, they were willing to talk Switch 2 at CES 2025. Above you can see a peek at some of their products for the system. Please note that you are not seeing actual Switch 2 hardware, but dummy units that were manufactured for the purpose of showcasing Genki’s accessories. Via the images, we can see that Genki is working on a Switch 2 Joy-Con charger and some sort of case/shell for the Switch 2 as well.
