Xbox Game Pass changes take place

It’s time for the mid-month Game Pass shuffle and this week we welcome in a couple of new games to the service, all as a number more depart!

Xbox Game Pass is undergoing its usual roster changes, with a couple of exciting new additions and a handful of departures. Let’s take a look at the games that are joining and leaving the service in the coming week.

Stepping into the Octagon: EA Sports UFC 5

Get ready to rumble!

EA Sports UFC 5 is entering the Game Pass arena on January 14th, available for Cloud and Xbox Series X|S through EA Play with Game Pass Ultimate.

This next-generation mixed martial arts experience promises to deliver the most realistic and immersive UFC action yet, with enhanced visuals, refined gameplay, and a roster of legendary fighters.

Descending into the Depths of Hell: Diablo

For PC gamers, the classic dungeon crawler Diablo is joining the Game Pass library on January 14th, with this one becoming available for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

Dive in and you’ll get to relive the origins of the iconic action RPG series, battling hordes of demons, collecting legendary loot, and exploring the depths of a gothic world.

Saying Farewell to Familiar Faces

While we’re excited for these new additions, we’re also sad to see some beloved titles leave the Game Pass library on January 15th. If you haven’t yet played the following through Cloud, Console or PC, your time to do so through Game Pass is fast limited.

Of course, if you wish to open the wallet and purchase them, you can, but prepare to wave goodbye to:

A New Year of Gaming Adventures

As always, Xbox Game Pass continues to deliver a diverse and ever-evolving library of games for subscribers to enjoy. While some titles may come and go, the service remains a fantastic value for gamers who want to explore new experiences and discover hidden gems.

So, as we settle into the new year, let’s take a moment to appreciate the games that have entertained us and look forward to the exciting new additions and the countless hours of gameplay that await us on Game Pass!

What’s Next for Game Pass?

The rest of January is looking great for Game Pass subscribers too. We can’t wait to play Sniper Elite: Resistance through our subscription, but there are a ton of new Xbox games that you should have on your radar.

As always, we’d love to know your thoughts. The comments are below.
