This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Kirk, and Trev discuss everything from Donkey Kong Country Returns HD to the next Switch 2 presentation.

Last week was all about the Switch 2. We broke down the reveal trailer, which teased Nintendo next console. This week, we continue the conversation by beginning our countdown to the dedicated Nintendo Direct on April 2. We discuss our thoughts on the length of the Direct and what we hope to see from the upcoming presentation. It’s an exciting time to be a Nintendo fan, and we can’t wait to find out more about the Switch 2!

We’re also playing a lot of great games this week, of course! We kick things off with recent Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, a beautiful-lloking outing that brings the classic Wii/3DS title to the Switch for the first time.

Next we head into the mind-reading stylings of Mindcop, a unique whodunnit that took us by surprise. We also delve into the latest Nintendo Switch Online offerings, with three SNES games joining the ranks, plus we’re excited to be playing the upcoming Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero as well as revisiting Vambrace: Cold Soul and testing the RPG waters of Dragon Takers.
