Switch Game Vouchers cannot be used for Switch 2 games

Do you have some Switch Game Vouchers sitting around? Planning on using them to snag yourself some Switch 2 games when the system rolls around? Well, it’s time to make a different plan.

Nintendo has announced that Switch Game Vouchers cannot be redeemed for Switch 2 games. It’s unclear if Nintendo will have a new voucher system they’ll put in place, and if that does come to be, we’re likely quite far off from hearing details. In other words, better use up those Switch Game Vouchers on Switch games before they expire!
