Twisted Tower is a BioShock inspired horror FPS where you venture into a freaky theme park filled with fairy-tale mascots, to win back the love of your ex.

Taking place in the 1950’s, in Twisted Tower you have returned from the war to find that your beloved has left you for someone more financially stable. You then receive an invite to the Twisted Tower, which promises a big cash prize and the love of your life if you manage to reach the top and conquer it. Things won’t be easy though – the tower is crawling with grotesque gun-wielding fairy-tale mascots, which you’ll have to fight your way through to reach the top.

The Twisted Tower demo takes around 30-40 minutes to play through and features the first couple of levels of the tower. There’s a nice selection of weaponry (all of which are upgradeable), some puzzle solving elements, a variety of fairy-tale mascots to blast and some oddball characters to meet.

It’s an impressive FPS, particularly as it’s Atmos Games’ (creators of Pinstripe and Neversong) first foray into the genre. It’s got a big BioShock vibe (which is no bad thing), but it’s got plenty of its own identity too, and there are some clever moments throughout (such as being able to rotate a whole room). Highly recommended.
