Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 returns this summer
Are tricks still gnarly? Are songs still sick?
There are a lot of words one feels compelled to use when covering an announcement such as the remake of Tony Haw’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. Those words all feel wrong coming from me, so I’m going to let the official press release do its thing.
The legend returns on July 11 with the launch of Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4! Remade from the ground up and ready to rip this summer, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 blends the classic content that fans loved in the 2000s with new offerings, including new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even sicker soundtrack, and, for the first time in 10 years – brand-new parks!
I hope you’ve still got your No Fear window decal!
The new skaters include Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome, amongst others. Returning greats include Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, and Bob Burnquist.
Amongst other songs, the “sicker soundtrack” features:
- “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead
- “Amoeba” by Adolescents
- “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr
- “96 Quite Bitter Beings ” by CKY
- “Not the Same” by Bodyjar
- KRS-One’s “Outta Here”
- New tracks that “capture the spirit of modern skate culture.”
