Desert Detectors Detector Tier List
First we give our favorite detector, then run in descending order from the best to the least impressive.
The GOAT
The very best detector in our humble opinion, balances the important stats and gives the best possible performance.
S Tier
Late game detectors. Sometimes high cost, but always high return, these are very good at what they do, though they fall just short of the GOAT.
- Prehistoric Detector
- Triangular Detector
- Core Detector
A Tier
Late Game detectors. These re sometimes a little more pricey, though do bring with them a fairly significant upgrade as far as stats go. Possibly aesthetics, too.
- Signal Detector
- Steel Skull Detector
B Tier
Mid Game detectors. These are decent to use, and let you operate fairly efficiently. They’re not super exciting, but they will get the job done.
- Gold Detector
- Silver Detector
- Foreign Detector
C Tier
Early game detectors. These are an upgrade from the bottom of the barrel, but they don’t have a ton to offer. They should help you find things a bit faster though, which might make them worth the money if you can’t get anything better yet.
D Tier
Basic detectors. These should at least get you started in your treasure hunting endeavours, but you should only keep them until you can afford something on the higher tiers, they’re not worth keeping around any longer than that.
