ENDER MAGNOLIA devs attribute the game’s success to a “perfect balance” of story and gameplay
Earlier this year in January, Binary Haze Interactive released ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom In The Mist, the sequel to the critically acclaimed dark fantasy metroidvania fairy tale ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, on Switch. Just like the first title, ENDER MAGNOLIA has wowed both critics and gamers a like, and the dev team thinks they know why.
In an interview with Automaton-Media, lead game designer Yasuhiro Yokoyama was asked why the game seems to have resonated with the vast majority of people who’ve played it. According to the dev, the game’s success comes from a flawless mix of two major components.
