Secret animations discovered in Pokémon Stadium

Pokémon Stadium came out for the Nintendo 64 all the way back in 1999, meaning its been 26 long years since the title first arrived. Even though the game is decades old, it appears there are still fans out there poking around in the game to see what they can discover, and today brings us an interesting find.

By this point you probably think you’ve seen and done all there is to do in Pokémon Stadium, but the video above may prove otherwise. For example, did you know that using the Mimic move in Pokémon Stadium will result in animations that you’d otherwise never see during the course of a battle?

The video features two unique animations you’ll only ever see if you use Mimic: Pikachu using a Psychic attack, and Venusaur using Earthquake. Diehard fans will notice the difference in these animations right away, but again, chances are this will be the first time you’ve ever seen them! Makes you wonder what else is hiding in this N64 classic!
