Nintendo working closely with 3rd parties to fix Switch to Switch 2 backwards compatibility issues

Shortly after Nintendo’s Switch 2 Direct, the company revealed a website that let people know about Switch games that are currently suffering from issues when being played on Switch 2. Some of these games have minor hiccups while others can’t start at all, but thankfully Nintendo is working hard to patch things up.
In an interview with GameSpot, Nintendo’s Technology Development Division General Manager Tetsuya Sasaki revealed that Nintendo is working closely with developers of other Switch games in order to figure out the problems with Switch 2 compatibility. This is most likely a process that will continue on throughout the early years of Switch 2, with more Switch games getting perfect Switch 2 functionality as the months roll on.
“Yes, Nintendo has worked very hard at figuring out how to make a wide variety of games compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2. And as the Nintendo Switch 2 became more and more complete and entered its final form, we really realized how important it is for us to work very closely together with our third-party partners. And that is how this list came about.”
