Crunda – Beta Demo | Alpha Beta Gamer

Crunda is a delightful physics-based speedrunning platformer where you race across a trail on a super squashy asteroid belt.

In Crunda you are a square-shaped reporter on the trail of a big scoop. In each level you need to make your way to the exit flag as quickly as possible, picking up the required amount of stars on the way. This requires you to jump between a series of squashy spherical asteroids, each with their own gravitational pull. Along the way you also meet various characters who help fill you in about Crunda’s strange ecosystem.

The Crunda demo is pretty short (about 10 minutes), but it’s a real joy and has plenty of replay value if you’re chasing gold trophies or a place on the online leaderboards. It’s a lot of fun even if you’re not into speedrunning though, thanks to the gravitational platforming, the squashy physics, the characters you meet and the bopping soundtrack. It’s rare that the simple act of jumping in a platformer is so much fhun. Highly recommended.
