Nintendo eShop cards have gotten a visual refresh

In the lead-up to the Switch 2 launch, Nintendo is slowly-but-surely going through a series of minor changes. This has included a refresh of character art for Switch profile icons and more, and now we’re seeing the same changes made on the eShop card front.

Over in Brazil, Nintendo has revealed a series of reworked Nintendo eShop cards. These cards have been around for awhile and feature various Nintendo characters, but now the Big N. has seen fit to feature revamped artwork on these cards.

We’re mostly seeing the same characters pop up this time around, but Nintendo has gone in and swapped out old artwork for new takes. Most of the cards feature character artwork that has been very slightly tweaked, but there are examples like Donkey Kong where his brand-new design has replaced the RARE-era style.

Again, these cards have been only revealed for Brazil, but there’s no doubt a similar rollout will happen worldwide. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for these cards to make their debut in the states, which should happen any day now.

Thanks to Olivia for the heads up!
