There’s a new Android release you might want to check out. It’s called Cardjo, and it’s currently in soft launch in Canada and Belgium. It’s a simple card game similar to Skyjo, but this one’s built entirely for mobile.
What’s Cardjo?
Cardjo is about lowering your score by getting rid of the bad cards. There’s actual strategy involved in doing so. You get to read the board, anticipate what the other players might do, and make sure not to blow it in the final round.
It plays fast, too, so you won’t be stuck in a long match if you just want a quick break. There are several ways to play Cardjo. You can go solo against the AI, which adapts based on how you’re doing.
Then there’s online multiplayer, where you can challenge players around the world and try to climb the leaderboard.
For a more private experience, you can set up games with friends. Or if you’re into grinding through levels, there’s a full campaign mode with 90 challenges to beat.
Learning how to play takes barely a couple of minutes. The design looks clean, while the scores and stats are tracked automatically.

Cardjo has been developed by Thomas-iade, an indie French developer. They have also developed two other apps, though they’re not games. One is called Pedianesth which helps with dosage and medication prep when treating kids. The other is Salaire FPH, which is a salary simulator for public hospital workers.
The dev has regular new stuff planned, like daily challenges and new game modes. You can customize your experience too, with different skins, backgrounds, and avatars. If you’re in Canada or Belgium and like strategy games, get Cardjo from the Google Play Store.
