Retronauts Episode 689: Dragonstrike

Best I could ever manage was Dragonspare

Legendary RPG Dungeons & Dragons has been around for a long, long time now, and ever since the first would-be adventurer calculated THAC0 developers have tried to translate the D&D experience to video games. In a way, every adventure game and every RPG ever made owes at least some small part to the original D&D, even if many games in those genres contain neither dungeons nor dragons.

This week, host Nadia Oxford addresses the subject of Dragonstrike, a pair of video games adapted from D&D called Dragonstrike. Joining Nadia for this discussion are William SRD and frequent Retronauts cover artist Greg Melo.

Description: Nadia Oxford, William SRD, and Greg Melo talk about DragonStrike, a retro flight / combat game based around D&D’s Dragonlance universe.
