Rikzu Games has launched a new game on Android. It’s called Cub8 and it’s a rhythm game where you take on hypnotic precision challenges. Their last mobile release was Shapeshifter: Animal Run, an endless runner with magical elements, which came out in October 2024.
Rikzu Games makes games that are a bit different. They make puzzles, runners and games of other simple genres which have a twist. Patience Balls: Zen Physics, Galaxy Swirl: Hexa Endless Run, Leap: A Dragon’s Adventure and Rotato Cube are all such unique games created by them.
What About Cub8?
Cub8 is a rhythm arcade game built entirely around precision. You tap, a cube rotates, and if everything lines up right, you get to keep going. If you mess up even once, you lose instantly with no second chances.
The game throws you into a hypnotic loop with a smooth, infinite zoom that pulls you deeper and deeper as you progress. Visually, it has a neon look that mixes classic arcade vibes with a futuristic music video.
Every 10 taps, you hit a new stage in Cub8. The music shifts, the visuals change, and the mechanics crank up a notch. There are eight stages in total, and each one can mess with your timing in a totally different way.

Like Rhythm Games?
Once you progress, hazard cubes start bouncing your moves off course. Fake cubes show up just to troll you. Apart from keeping rhythm, you win by how fast your brain can react. You have to stay locked in.
The soundtrack is a big part of the Cub8 experience, obviously. There’s a strong techno and glitchy feel which is tightly synced to the gameplay. Playing without headphones would be missing the point since your ears help your thumbs make the right move.
There’s a little bit of customization too. You can unlock skins for your hydraulic press and grab some power-ups which can help you stretch your run a bit longer. Lastly, there’s a global leaderboard if you like competing with other real players.
