Fire raining from the sky might sound worrying in theory, but so does lightning bolts, and as Grow A Garden players, we love those. We love the Grow A Garden Meteor Shower even more, because it’s a great way to make a ton of sheckles. Confused? Let’s explain!
Grow A Garden is out now on Roblox. If you’re interested in some of the other recent content, take a look at our Grow A Garden update guide.
Grow A Garden Meteor Shower
What Does The Meteor Shower Do?
During a Meteor Shower, stars rain from the sky, hitting random points all across the map. If one of these falling stars strikes a garden, it will give all the plants in a small radius the Celestial mutation. The Celestial Mutation gives plants a pale colour, multicoloured sparkly glow, and, more importantly, a huge boost in their sale value. A Celestial fruit sells for 120x its base value.
So as you can imagine, a Meteor Shower is a pretty good thing.
How Do Meteor Showers Happen?
Meteor Showers are events that only happen during another event, the Night Event, or the Blood Moon event. Every hour either a Night or a Blood Moon will take place. The sky will become dark, and it will stay that way for between 10 and 15 minutes.
A Meteor Shower can happen at any point during the Night or Blood Moon. You will know it’s happening because you will see an icon in the bottom right of the screen depicting several falling starts. You can often also hear the sound cue of the meteors if you’re not actively watching the window your garden is in.
If you want to increase your chances of falling stars hitting specific plants, you can place a tool called a Star Caller, available from the Blood Moon Shop or the Twilight Shop. When placed in your garden, there’s a chance that falling stars will fly towards the Star Caller.
