What’s The Most Mutations a Fruit Can Have in Grow a Garden?

You read the title! Use this guide to find out what the most mutations a fruit can have in Grow a Garden, including the maths multipliers, and how that changes the value of two very different crops.

What’s The Most Mutations a Fruit Can Have in Grow a Garden?

In short, a lot! But let’s get technical. The most amount of Mutations a Fruit can experience at once in Grow a Garden is 13!

  • Rainbow: x50 Value
    • A crop has a 0.1% chance to sprout as its rainbow variant.
  • Chocolate: x2 Value
    • Mutated using a Chocolate Sprinkler (Obtainable during the Easter Event 2025)
  • Moonlit: x2 Value
    • Only obtainable during a night event. (Currently unobtainable)
  • Pollinated: x3 Value
    • Mutated during the Bee Swarm event, which happens hourly at XX:00.
  • Bloodlit: x4 Value
    • Only obtainable during a Blood Moon Event. (Currently unobtainable)
  • Plasma: x5 Value
  • Honey-Glazed: x5 Value
    • Mutated using a Honey Sprinkler from the Bizzy Bees event shop.
  • Frozen: x10 Value
    • Crops that become wet and chilled can later become frozen by a Polar Bear pet or during the Frost Storm weather event.
  • Zombified: x25 Value
    • The Chicken Zombie pet has a 20% chance to mutate crops every 30 minutes into Zombified.
  • Shocked: x100 Value
    • Crops adopt this mutation if struck by lightning during a Thunderstorm.
  • Celestial: x120 Value
    • Crops adopt this mutation if struck during a Meteor Shower.
  • Disco: x125 Value
  • Voidtouched: x135 Value

Some Mutations cannot overlap, which creates a Mutation Maximum. For example, a crop can spawn as normal, Golden or Rainbow. A crop cannot be both Golden and Rainbow. So, to find the maximum value, we take the highest multiplier of the two, which in this case is the Rainbow (x50 Value, versus the x20 gold).

The Maths Breakdown

We begin with our base value, which in this case is x50 because of the Rainbow crop. Then, each mutation gets multiplied together inside brackets and finally multiplied by the base value. This looks something like this:

50x • ( x1 + x99 + x9 + x1 + x1 + x124 + x119 + x3 + x24 + x4 + x2 + x4 + x134) which equals a maximum multiplier of x26,250!

An average unmutated carrot sells for around 20 coins, double its seed price. If it somehow adopted each mutation before sale, the carrots’ value would skyrocket to 525,000 coins!

Another fun example, the sought-after high-yielding Candy Blossom sells for 90,250 unmutated and average-sized. After applying each mutation, it will sell for a mind-numbing 2,369,062,500 cash.
