After nearly a decade of unsettling discoveries and puzzle-solving, Holly Stonehouse’s journey is finally reaching its end. Indie developer Goblinz Enterprises and publisher The Digital Lounge have announced True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 3 for mobile.
The game is set to be released for Android on July 3rd, 2025. The mobile version is now available for pre-registration. By the way, Part 3 has already been out on Steam since April 21st. If you haven’t played Parts 1 and 2 yet, do give them a try.
Where Will True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 3 Take Us?
The final instalment in the True Fear trilogy picks up where Part 2 left off, dragging Holly deeper into the shadows of her family’s past. The series began back in 2016 with Part 1. The story starts with Holly responding to a mysterious letter from her sister Dahlia.
So, Holly returns to Stonehouse Manor, her childhood home filled with long-forgotten secrets. In Part 2, released in 2018, her search took her to the disturbing ruins of Dark Falls Asylum. It’s where her family history grew darker and more confusing.
And now, with Part 3, you’ll finally get all the answers, including the fate of Dahlia. And also the truth about their mother’s death and the origins of the sinister force that has stalked Holly throughout the trilogy.
A Psychological Horror
The series leans into psychological horror with point-and-click mechanics and detailed puzzles. It has an oppressive atmosphere built through cinematic storytelling. The game doesn’t rely on jump scares or action-heavy sequences.
Just like the prequels, you’ll be exploring haunted locations where every drawer, newspaper clipping, or old VHS tape might uncover a key detail. True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 3 apparently has more cinematic interludes and story-driven puzzles.
