We’ve got a little look at what we can maybe expect from the update through the official Roblox event page, though there’s not a ton of detail right now.
“Summer’s here! Introducing our biggest update so far with all new seeds, pets, gear, and lots more summery surprises!”
That’s all! Expect the description to grow as we get closer to the Summer Update, possibly after the Crafting Update.
What Do We Expect To Happen?
This is getting more into the speculative territory, but it’s pretty interesting. The word on the street (well, the Grow A Garden Discord, anyway) is that the Summer update is going to be a big deal, as it’ll be the end of the current run of seed shop seeds. Supposedly, the Summer update will replace them with all-new crops for a whole set of new seeds.
The source for this appears to be some screenshots of an admin message from the main dev, Jandel. BUT, keep in mind that these messages, text over the game, are easy enough to fake, so it’s still possible someone is making stuff up. If you’ve ever had someone swear lightning kills pets, you know that a few people in the Grow A Garden community will make things up.
So, before you do anything drastic like stay up for 48 hours stockpiling Bamboo, wait for an official announcement or leak.
