The Best Android Games With Controller Support
Right, let’s give a rundown of the games.
Terraria
A great mix between a build-’em-up and a platformer. Terraria might have been around for a while, but it’s still one of the best games on Android. And with a controller it’s even better – build, fight, survive, build some more. Terraria is a premium game and you’ll get everything it has to offer for one up-front payment.
Call of Duty: Mobile

Probably the best multiplayer shooter on mobile, and it’s even better with a controller. Packed full of modes and guns to unlock, there’s always something to do and someone to shoot, and it’s always getting new stuff.
Little Nightmares

This bleak and creepy platformer lets you use a controller to navigate, and you might need it to stay one step ahead of the horrid creatures that haunt its halls. Use all your skill and cunning to succeed in a world that’s much too big for you.
Dead Cells

If you want to face the terrifying, ever-shifting island kingdom of Dead Cells, then controller is the best way to travel. Dead Cells is a rogue-like metroidvania where you play a strange sentient blob piloting a dead body in place of its head.
You navigate through the dangerous halls, fight enemies, and pick up new upgrades and weapons. It’s not an easy ride, but it’s more than worthwhile.
My Time At Portia

A great twist on the Stardew-esque genre where you take on the role of a builder in the remote town of Portia. It has a bit of everything, from building, to social interactions, to action RPG adventures in the dungeons. You can also go and fight the townsfolk, a feature we strongly feel every game like this should have.
Pascal’s Wager

A brilliant 3D action adventure with thick and juicy combat, gorgeous graphics and a gloomy story that’ll keep you riveted. It’s good with touchscreen, it’s even better when you’re playing with a controller – console-quality gameplay with console-quality controls. Pascal’s Wager is a premium game, with IAPs for DLC.
Final Fantasy VII

This iconic RPG is out on Android and it’s controller-friendly, too! Head out on a truly epic adventure that takes you from the streets of the metropolis of Midgar to try and save the planet from a terrible and existential threat.
Alien Isolation

You can tackle this terrifying monster survival horror on the Android platform, and it’s easily compatible with the Razer Kishi. In Alien Isolation you explore the Sevastopol Station, a space station descending into chaos as an extraterrestrial apex predator stalks its hall. Do whatever you can to survive.
Blasphemous

Mix Dark Souls, Metroidvania, and someone’s intense Catholic guilt and you get Blasphemous, a brutal 2D Souls-like which takes a lot of inspiration from cathedral aesthetic. If rather than serenity you were aiming for torment and impeccably-timed parries.
MO: Astray

Perhaps a lesser-known Steam game port, and one that could really use more postive attention, is MO: Astray. This game sees you controlling MO, an adorable little turquoise blob who wakes up to a decimated world.
While you’re squishy in both senses of the word, your unique physiology lets you bounce off walls, possess wandering creatures, and give yourself intense emotional damage by reading their minds.
DREDGE

Set out to fish in a sea where humans aren’t necessarily the apex predator. Try to make money to keep your livelihood running, while avoiding the Terrible Things that lurk beneath the surface.
Death’s Door

Stop just being an omen for death and take a more active role as a crow wielding a sword in this charming RPG. You collect souls, but this is a bit more dangerous than it might suggest.
