What Is The Fried Chicken Event?
It’s hard to mistake the Fried Chicken event for anything else. You’ll probably know when it happens. The sky turns bright like the Floating Jandel or Sun God events, but instead of Jandel, a huge Cooked Owl rises over the horizon, and fried chicken begins to rain from the sky.
What Does The Fried Chicken Event Do?
The event has a chance to give a special mutation to your crops. Any of your crops can gain the Fried mutation, which increases their value, and makes them look like little yellow drops of oil are continuously falling off the surface.
How Do You Get The Fried Chicken Event?
The Fried Chicken event is an admin-only event. This means it doesn’t appear randomly like some of the weather events. Instead, it needs to be manually activated by someone with admin powers. This usually means the lead developer, Jandel.
These events could potentially happen at any time on Jandel’s whim, but the best time to potentially see it is around an hour or two before the update time on Saturdays. (It usually drops at 3pm BST.) Hang around an hour or so before the drop, and you’ll often see Jandel active, dropping admin events and hints for future plans. This is the time with the best chance to see the Fried Chicken.
