Just like every other week, the Epic Games Store is back with a freebie. This week’s free mobile game on the Epic Games Store is Figment. It’s a puzzle platformer that’s all about music and charm. Epic’s mobile free game lineup has already featured a few unexpected gems, and Figment is no exception.
The game actually launched on Android in January 2021 and on iOS in 2020. But it was later removed from Google Play due to some publishing issues. Bedtime Digital Games, the developer and publisher of the game, also released a sequel Figment 2 in 2023.

Figment: Journey Into the Mind is an action-adventure game where you step into someone’s wandering subconscious. It’s a surreal, hand-painted world where your job is to help the mind confront its deepest fears.
In Figment, you’ll wander around admiring pretty backdrops full of whimsical, colourful art inspired by brushstrokes and dreamlike scenes. You play as Dusty, the mind’s long-lost voice of courage.
Dusty gets dragged back into action to restore peace after new thoughts begin to morph into fearsome nightmares. Dusty’s cheerful sidekick Piper tags along for the journey, pushing you to face each challenge with a smile.
The game’s levels are set across different imaginative zones. There’s the playful Freedom Isles, the bright and mechanical Clockwork Town, and the darker, more twisted Pathways.
Music is a pretty big part of the game. Enemies sing, environments move to a rhythm, and boss battles become theatrical performances rather than just fights.
You’ll swing your sword, solve tricky puzzles, and figure out how to blend both in order to move forward. Most puzzles connect back to the mind’s emotional struggles. Each encounter and puzzle is like a small metaphor for overcoming inner fears.
