As I grew up playing DOA and Ninja Gaiden, my favorite fighter and hack n slash, Ryu Hayabusa was always the coolest character in his universe to me! His stoic, but wise nature really hit with me. Additionally, Hideki Hori and Troy Baker were also my biggest inspirations for voice acting! Hideki Hori, especially, because of his unique voice use of deliveries in media such as Kyoya from Demon City Shinjuku, Ikki from Saint Seiya and Captain Ginyu from Dragon Ball. And Troy Baker also having that unique voice that you could, honestly, hear everywhere in the english VA world.
It took a lot of courage, but I finally decided to use that inspiration to record my own lines for the character that they both voiced. And with Dave B. Mitchell’s performance for Ryu being kinda lackluster in his combat deliveries imo (I do like how he speaks, though), it was made abundantly clear to me that I had to do this to be satisfied with constantly playing as Ryu in DOA6 (obviously my main). So, I went with the approach like I was trying to somewhere mirror Troy’s and Hideki’s performance for NG3 and *ahem* Yaiba: NGZ and translate some of that performance my own way to DOA6 with the tools given to me.
Those tools being Audacity, SRSXTool, RDBTool, and REDELBE. They are fucking Godsends!

Download and extract the contents of the main file into the REDELBE folder -> RRPreview

I hope you all enjoy my little contribution! It was very fun recording everything! Oh yeah, one last thing! For now, this mod only includes the main lines for intros/outros and gameplay! I will redo lines progressively for story mode, however, it will take much more time since I actually have to find what brief appearances he appears in for other characters! So stay tuned. Obviously, Ryu’s story lines will be prioritized! Nonetheless, thanks for downloading!
