Hunter Roulette is a new, lethal strategy betting game from indie developer Pili Starship. Set in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk wasteland, it’s a multiplayer game. The title was already released on Steam for PC players on June 26th.
A Feast for the Eyes, a Jolt to the Heart
Set inside a futuristic underground bunker, Hunter Roulette has you play as bounty hunters. The visuals draw heavily from Western comics, and the characters are all vibrant and full of personality.
In the game, offense truly becomes your best defense through the unique Frenzy Points system. By damaging enemies, you rack up these points and can use them to survive. There are 20 unique items and 10 types of firearms for you to explore.
Hunter Roulette has a 3-player free-for-all mode that’s full of shifting alliances and quick betrayals. There are 2v2 team fights as well as a 1v1 story-based mode to learn more about each hunter’s hidden past.
You can track your progress on seasonal leaderboards. Then there’s a Trek mode by stacking up win streaks. Meanwhile, Spectator mode lets you watch matches live and place token-based bets. Take a look at the game below.
Hunter Roulette has quirky props
You can use a Maintenance Kit to power up your damage in a turn and burst into action with Burst Mode to shoot twice. Or you can sabotage your opponent by forcing them to reload using Spare Magazine.
Hunter Roulette features eight distinct bounty hunters. There’s the wild Bioweapon No.13 who can turn his Frenzy Points directly into health. There’s Pirate Octopus Annie who can swap someone’s blank round for a live one. Each character has solo story content and exclusive skins.
The game is available on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play title. It’s out across English, German, French, Spanish, and Portuguese regions.
