Zelda mod mashes up Ocarina of Time and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time released all the way back in 1998, yet decades later the title continues to get attention from gamers, speedrunners, and of course, modders.

There have been all kinds of wild, weird and interesting mods for Ocarina of Time over the years, but today brings us what might be one of the most unique yet. Above, you can watch the trailer for Hero of Law, a mod that takes Ocarina of Time and turns it into a Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney-style adventure.

In this fan-made adventure, Link has put away the Master Sword and stepped into the courtroom in order to dish out another kind of Hyrule justice. You’ll see plenty of familiar Ocarina of Time faces pop up throughout this mod, but you’re going to get stories, scenarios and situations far removed from this N64 great.

Hero of Law has been released for free and can be played on emulators, but for those who are extra dedicated, you can actually play this mod on N64 hardware as well. To learn more about the project, visit the official site!
