Psychopathy Assessment was announced for Switch back in July 11th, and it was said that the game would release on July 25th, 2025. It’s unclear if the game actually released on Switch or not, but the one thing we know for a fact is that the game isn’t available on the platform right now.
Developer Galactic Crows shared a message on social media back on July 25th, the intended launch day, saying that Psychopathy Assessment was “withdrawn from Switch.” Again, we’re not sure if that means the game was added to the eShop but removed shortly thereafter, or if it was cancelled before release. The developer went on to say this decision was made “following Nintendo’s withdrawal of support due to the intense and graphic nature of certain imagery.”
We’ve reached out to Nintendo to try and get further comment on this matter, and we’ll keep you posted should we receive any updates. It’s worth noting that according to the initial trailer, the developer also intended to release Psychopathy Assessment on Xbox Series X/S as well, but the game is yet to appear on those platforms as of this time. It’s unclear if this lack of release is due to the same reasoning given by Nintendo, or another matter altogether.
