The eerie, rubber-hose charm of 1920s animation has been twisted into a gruesome psychological horror experience in a brand-new title that has just crept its way onto consoles and PC – Bad Cheese.

Bad Cheese, a new hand-drawn adventure from Simon Lukasik and horror publisher Feardemic, has launched. This unique and unsettling game is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC for £10.74.

Keep Daddy Happy… Or Else

Prepare to step into the tiny paws of a mouse trying to maintain a sense of normalcy in a not-so-normal household, where your one and only goal is to keep a dysfunctional Dad happy while Mom is away.

In Bad Cheese, you play as a child-mouse spending the weekend at home. With your Mom away, you are left in the care of your dysfunctional Dad, and you must be on your best behaviour at all times. You will need to complete tasks, eat your snacks, find your toys, and carefully navigate what the game calls a “complicated family dynamic.

A House of Secrets

This is a game about experiencing the gruesome reality of a child trying to survive in an unsettling environment. As the game ominously warns, “Every family has a corpse in the closet and in this house, there are many closets.” You will need to explore the house and try to maintain a sense of normalcy, all while the threat of upsetting Dad looms over you.

The most striking feature of Bad Cheese is its unique aesthetic. The entire game is presented with hand-drawn art combined with a 16mm film-inspired visual style. This makes you feel like you’re watching a scary, long-lost cartoon from the golden era of animation, creating a truly unique and creepy atmosphere.
