Throughout this year I’ve been writing about many of the games that were announced and entered into the SEUCK competition provided by The New Dimension. Games such as Star Skimmer, Spy Kombat and Poltergeist Hellschool. Well fast forward to today however, and with the competition over. The New Dimension has released the SEUCK Compo 2025 prize package. A package that contains all the entries from the competition, as well as enhanced versions of some of the games for you to play right now. In light of this news, Saberman has shown off one of the games called ‘Hyper Hive’. A quality shoot ’em up using the SEUCK Redux and the ACME cross-assembler by Richard/TND, Blazon and Martin Piper.
Here’s the latest from the website. “The SEUCK Compo 2025 prize package has now been released and features all of the entries that were submitted to the competition. Also included in the prize pack are three enhanced versions of this compo’s winner and two runner up games. These all feature new front ends, some possible in game enhancements and some incredible loading artwork with special thanks to Carl (Mase) Mason. The winners enhanced games are first in the list in both D64 (Split into 4 disk sides with a menu on each side) and TAP versions of the prize pack”.
