Are you a puzzle fiend looking for something that will keep you on your toes? Are you a casual gamer who likes to pass a few minutes waiting for your train to arrive? Do you just like assembling pictures of cats?
If you’ve said ‘yes’ to any of these, then maybe you should check out the new game, Polygon Mayhem.
So, what’s it all about? Polygon Mayhem is a unique gemoterical shape-based puzzle game, where you set out to fill the puzzle frame, you’re given using the shapes provided.
There’s a twist, though. The shapes also have a 3d component. You can unfold them to unlock their hidden depths… and maybe make a puzzle easier… or more complicated. No unique solution so it make it fun with freedom to place the shapes
Time To Shape Up (Or Down, Or Side to Side)

You can place your shapes freely, rotating them as you please, or magnet-snapping them into the right spot.
The game rates you on how much coverage you can achieve within the frame.
Sometimes you’ll be making regular shapes, other times you’ll be putting together pictures of cats, dogs, flowers, and horses.
It’s simple to get started with, but quickly becomes trickier. You’ll need to think outside of the box… literally. Prepare to have your spatial reasoning tested.
While the puzzles are no pushover, the way the game is divided up means it’s easy to pick up and play when you have a bit of spare time. On the bus, in a waiting room, wherever you want to fill up a few minutes, but give your brain something to chew on.
The game is free to download, with in-app purchases up to a relatively humble £11.49. It’s compatible with systems after Android 6.
If it all sounds interesting to you, you can pick up Polygon Mayhem via the Google Play Store now (it’s also on iOS). Updates are ongoing!
