The ultimate battle between good and evil is about to reach its peak, and the arena will never be the same.
Season 13 of the free-to-play battle royale, MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, has officially launched today, September 24th, on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
This huge new season, which also marks the game’s second anniversary, is headlined by the arrival of a brand-new playable character: Izuku Midoriya in his most powerful One For All form.
This anniversary celebration is packed with new content, including another central character arriving later in the season, new costumes, and a host of new gacha rolls and events.
When we first jumped into the chaotic world of MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE, we were hugely impressed. In our 4/5 review, we called it an “extraordinary take on the battle royale genre,” and praised its “great, action-packed matches.” We noted that its one map and game mode could be a “slight hindrance to the longevity,” but that the rewarding objectives and seasonal passes were a great distraction.
This new anniversary season is a perfect example of how the game has continued to grow, adding two of the most central and highly-requested characters in the entire franchise to the roster.
A Clash of Destinies: The New Characters
Season 13 is all about the epic, fated rivalry between the inheritors of One For All and All For One.
Available in the game from today, the Ninth One For All successor, Izuku Midoriya (OFA), has arrived. This is Deku at the peak of his powers. He can use Gearshift to boost his speed and unleash a flurry of fast, powerful, and unpredictable attacks.
By entering his “5th Gear <Overdrive>” state while using his Quirk Skills, he can fire off even stronger techniques. He also has access to Special Actions tied to the powers of the Third and Sixth One For All inheritors.
And then, arriving in the second half of Season 13 is the man who started it all: All For One<Youth Age>. This is the evil incarnate at the beginning of his dark career, ascending to a golden age of power. Players will be able to unleash his awakened Quirk and completely dominate the arena.

On top of the two new central characters, this anniversary season is packed with other new content. Available from today are brand-new costumes for both the new Izuku Midoriya (OFA) (the One For All Final Battle Ver.) and for Katsuki Bakugo (Quirk Assist Gear).
Players can also look forward to a host of other special rolls, new events, more costumes, and new character illustrations that will be added throughout the season.
With the most powerful version of Deku now at your fingertips and the ultimate villain waiting in the wings, this second-anniversary season is the perfect time to drop back into the action.
