There’s a lost kitty out there, so it’s up to you to track down The Forge’s cat and return it to Tomo, its owner. Tomo gives you the quest quite early on in your adventure, so you might expect to have an easy time of it, but this cat is quite the Houdini, doing a great job of hiding from you. Luckily, we’re here to walk you through how to complete the Lost Cat quest, so you don’t need to be on what feels like a never-ending quest for this pesky feline.

How do I unlock The Forge cat quest?
To unlock the Lost Cat quest, you need to speak to Tomo, who you can find up the hill in Stonewake’s Cross. He’s to the left of the entrance to the mine – if you go in, you’ve gone too far. Tomo gives you the quest when you talk with him, explaining that his cat is missing, and, being the good Samaritan you are, you’re obviously going to help him out.
However, before you can actively search for the cat, you need to be level ten and finish the prologue quest that Sensei Moro gives you; otherwise, you can’t use the portal to reach the Forgotton Kingdom.
How do I find The Forge Cat?
Once you get to the Forgotten Kingdom, it’s time to track down the Goblin Cave, which is where you find the lost kitty. Finding the cave itself isn’t an issue; it’s more that you need to appease the Goblin King before you can gain access to it. The King and his cave are on the outskirts of town. All you need to do is follow the path, and you’ll soon come across two orcs guarding a camp – this is where the Goblin King is, and the entrance to the cave.
The Goblin King will only grant you access to the Goblin Cave after you complete a task for him; it’s long and requires you to track down various The Forge ores. However, once you do this, the King decides to take his leave, and you can find the key to access the cave on the throne.
Now that you’re inside the cave, you need to follow the path until you come across a large clearing with a waterfall – head behind the waterfall and interact with the wall in front of you. It’s an illusion, and once you head through, you can see Tomo’s cat just sitting there. Scoop the feline up and take it back to Tomo.
What do I get for finding The Forge cat?
You do get some fabulous rewards for your efforts, including so much XP that you’re sure to jump up a few levels, which will make you ready to tackle more combat-heavy quests, and, to go with that, you get the Cat Lover title. What a great title – it shows love for animals and will likely make your opponents underestimate you.
