Universal Tower Defense traits are something that you can attach to your units to give them an extra buff. Naturally, some are better than others, and those that offer the better benefits tend to be much rarer. What are the best Universal Tower Defense traits?
While all of the traits have something to offer, there’s no denying that the likes of Ruler, Fission, and Sacred really stand out from the pack.
Ruler
Just look at that incredible 200% increase in damage. Do we really need to say why Ruler is a dream trait in Universal Tower Defense? If you care about annihilating your enemies through brute force with an unstoppable machine, this is the trait you need for your unit. Plus, it has a nice 30% increase to its range and, despite that massive boost in offense, has a 20% decrease in cooldown times.
Sacred
Sacred is the only trait that makes summoning your unit cheaper, cutting the price down by 15%, and we don’t need to tell you how costly it can be to get characters out there fighting for you. Better still, units with this trait benefit from a 10% decrease in cooldown times, along with a nice 25% boost to both damage and range.
Fission
The radiation DoT capabilities are what truly elevate the Fission trait, as it consistently chips away at the health of your enemies, making them more susceptible to other attacks, with the 15% increase in damage ensuring your unit makes quick work of enemies that suffer from radiation. The 15% decrease in cooldowns and the 25% increase inrange are helpful, too.

There’s just one way to get new traits, and that’s to visit the Traits NPC, select the unit you want to get a new trait for, and roll for it. Unfortunately, it all comes down to luck.
