There is No Game Spin-Off Crushed in Time Drops New Gameplay Trailer

French studio Draw Me A Pixel Today has revealed a new gameplay clip from Crushed in Time, the spin-off to There is No Game. It’s a comedic point-and-click meta-adventure that spins off from the latter, a title that has crossed 1 million sales.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson are back in Crushed in Time, the There is No Game spin-off

The iconic duo is back after their appearance in There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension. This time, it’s their own misadventure just as a new Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson video game launches and immediately runs into trouble.

The case is that one of the game’s characters has gone missing. It triggers a chain of events that sends the duo tumbling through time and directly into the inner workings of an actual development pipeline.

In the new clip, you see a mysterious new character who will need assistance if Holmes and Watson are to fix what has gone wrong. While Holmes continues to be regarded as the greatest detective of his era, the game leans into his limitations. Watson, meanwhile, comes across as naive and cowardly at first glance.

And if you want to take a deeper look at this There is No Game spin-off, Crushed in Time, here are a few more videos!

Crushed in Time presents itself as an elastic experience in more ways than one, literally! Gameplay is a point-and-click puzzle. Progression depends on thinking like a detective and using unusual tools to manipulate objects and environments by pushing, pulling, stretching, and yoinking them.

The game’s meta structure frames time travel as a journey through design stages. Humour and surprises are a constant presence. Dialogues are fully voiced by humans, and there are tons of endearing characters in this chapter.

The game is slated to launch in 2026 on PC, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch.
