Steins;Gate 0 is the sequel to the highly acclaimed Steins;Gate. A visual novel with the same art style done by Huke it follows a very small thread from the original game. In 0 you play as Okarin on a darker worldline than the first game in order to learn how he became the man to send back a Nostalgia Drive.
The game could be called a sequel, prequel or midquel due to the nature of where it sits but regardless of what you call in you NEED to have played Steins Gate before this game as it has major spoilers for the ending. This is almost a pure visual novel where you will be reading and listening to each character as the story develops. You don’t have much interaction with the game aside from playing with your phone every now and then.
