I don’t know who’s behind the most recent Ork models for Warhammer 40K, but frankly, they’re knocking it out of the park – and a new hero to lead them has just been revealed.
Meet the manager from hell, the Ork Boss Nob. Job security? Nah, you’re fuel for the great Waaaagh. Dental? Only if it means he can give you a bionic jaw, all the better for chomping on puny Space Marines. Career progression? Forget it, unless by progression you mean “on the end of a rocket, at speed.” This guy will be leading your greenskin footsoldiers (Ork Boyz) through intimidation in the Warhammer 40K 11th Edition launch box, and he cuts quite the intimidating figure. Even though he’s not as menacing as the overall Warboss that seemed to offer our first look at 11th Ed, he’s still bringing the brawn this faction is known for… and is just the latest in a line of excellent Ork models to be announced at or since Warhammer AdeptiCon 2026. Between this and Wazdakka on a flaming motorbike, the team behind the army is most definitely cooking right now.

Ever since the new Warhammer 40K edition was shown off, a steady trickle of miniatures have been drip-fed to fans. So far we’ve had a refreshed Space Marine Intercessor (with the option for different armor marks, nodding to hasty battlefield repairs) alongside the revised Ork Boyz, and they’re head and shoulders above the old versions. While they still have the same customary slouch, they’ve swapped the old blockiness for a more dynamic pose. From the warrior we’ve seen so far, their faces are so full of character as well. One look at the trooper in question conveys exactly the kind of belligerent, dumb aggression that makes Orks so iconic.

We’ve barely gotten started though. In fact, I suspect that steady trickle will become a flood before long. Judging by previous launch boxes, the upcoming “Armageddon” is going to be jam-packed with entirely new models. Because the Ork range has been in need of a refresh for some time, we’re staring down the barrel of plenty more reveals.
