Anniversary Update Announced for Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Kena: Bridge of Spirits had launched back in 2021 and had helped usher in a new generation of games. With the game hitting it’s anniversary soon, Ember Lab has announced an incoming update loaded with some goodies for Kena and her forest friends.

Award-winning ‘Kena: Bridge of Spirits’ celebrates year one with a trove of new content, including: New Game+, Spirit Guide Trials, Charmstones, Outfits, and more!
Besides new cosmetics for Kena, we’re also getting New Game+, meaning that you can start a new game with all the upgrades that you’ve earned in your previous run. The update also promises some new trials and challenges for players to complete, as well as what looks to be a whole new story mission for Kena.
Kena had received rave reviews when it launched, and has been celebrated for its lush fantasy world with rich lore. Sure Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last of Us may have given us some solid woman game protagonists, but Kena manages to shine in that we have a lead girl in the fantasy genre with one of the more unique weapons in gaming.
A story-driven action adventure with a stunning visual aesthetic combining exploration with fast-paced combat. Players find and grow a team of charming spirit companions called the Rot, enhancing their abilities and creating new ways to manipulate the environment.
The Anniversary Update goes live on Sept. 27. Kena: Bridge of Spirits is currently available for PS4, PS5, and PC.
