Dolphin Wave – First Impression

Honey Parade Games had recently launch their latest mobile game, Dolphin Wave. The game is currently available for download via the Japan App and Play Store.

Dolphin Wave is a sporty… shooter… RPG… and ultimately, a waifu-collection game. The game is about a group of waifus coming on to a hidden island to participate in a special water sport called “Jet Battle”. The objective of the sport is to ride on motor boats (Umi Machines) and shoot down opponents with special “Energy Gun”.

In a party of 4 members, Players will decide which 2 members will become the Attacker while the other 2 members will become the Defender. Each turn, you will be able to perform 3 moves, the objective of them game is to reduce the opponent’s HP to 0. The gameplay is similar to any other turn-based RPG but with a different “combat style”.

If you enjoy playing waifu-collection games, you’ll definitely want to check this out. This is one of those rare waifu games that I really like the character design and picture collections in the game. The character models (oppai) are… I guess you can say they are well done!

Currently, there are 18 different Waifus you can collect in the game. Each waifu have their own different rarity cards. Unlocking a higher rarity version of the waifu will give her better stats, skills and unique costumes.
