This alarm sound can be heard looping at the NCR Correctional Facility as well as areas in DLC locations such as the Sierra Madre vault and the Lonesome Road silos. I made a selection of klaxons for Fallout 4 so I figured I might as well share some for New Vegas as I replaced the sound in my game with the Subtle version which I prefer for extended game sessions. Most of my sounds will have a slightly longer delay between alerts than vanilla.
A video has been provided, as usual, to preview the different sounds available as well as showcasing the vanilla sound so you know what you’re replacing before even downloading.
Manual installation; Download the archive, open it and open the data-folder within.
Drop the contents (sound-folder) to your Fallout4/Data. Yes to overwrite/merge.
Uninstalling; Delete the file “qst_klaxon_b_lp.wav” located in DATA\Sound\fx\qst\.
