This mod needs F4SE.
This is more of a proof of concept done in three days and has it’s roots in these two great mods which both have the shortcoming of changing the voice even if no helmet is worn:

Thanks to [url=https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/2962151]Bunslinger[/url] and [url=https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/83780098]RBxDash[/url] for those mods (and to you two: feel free to use this approach in your mods!).
Known bugs: Due to the quite hacky way of doing this with papyrus (which has no proper way of doing a thing like this) you will experience a short strange animation when switching on or off a helmet (very noticable when sneaking).
For those interested in a reason for this bug:
This is due to a race change in the papyrus script that is necessary to force the game to reload the sound output model. The animation you are seeing is that your character shortly gets the powerarmor race for a brief second 🙂

If you want a patch for [url=https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/83780098]RBxDash[/url] mod (Muffled Player Voice (Different 1st and 3rd person)) – he has given me permission to do so. But first I’d like to make sure this works as intended. If there is someone wanting this for his mod feel free to comment. When I have time I will look into it.
