Disney Speedstorm Reveals Founder’s Packs

After Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing, Disney is set to enter their own Kart-racing clone with Disney Speedstorm. Just in, we have a new trailer for the Founder’s Packs which will feature special cosmetics and character unlocks.

Choose your Pack today to be one of the first to hit the tracks when #DisneySpeedstorm launches in Early Access on April 18.

There are apparently three versions of the Founder’s pack available which include the Standard Founder’s Pack, Deluxe Founder’s Pack, and Ultimate Founder’s Pack. You also get to unlock one player of your choice and get access to exclusive skins from the Founder’s Pack.

While previous trailers for the game have teased several locations, the trailer also teases some new maps including one that’s inspired by Toy Story as well as another one that has hints at Lilo & Stitch.

This has also been irking me for a while, but as it turns out, the blonde girl in the trailers is Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Caribbean and not Rapunzel from Tangled.

So far, the game looks like any kart-racing clone, but with the Disney IP behind it, you can bet that Speedstorm is also betting to milk the nostalgia angle. Hopefully we get different seasons dependent on what Disney movie is coming out that month.

Early Access for Disney Speedstorm will launch on April 18 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
