The message this video is sending is “Broad Input, Broad Output,” where if you are a director and want to perform well, then it’s important to “take a lot in, put a lot out,” in Sakurai’s case, his input is playing games to be on top of things that are happening in this industry, and his output is creating games and writing columns in Weekly Famitsu magazine, he kept writing for the magazine for 18 years and 9 months. Even this YouTube channel could be considered as one of his outputs.
